Sinan is a dual-qualified lawyer and is licensed to practice law in Turkey and in England & Wales. His commercial law practice specializes in international sales contracts, the law of international finance, competition law, energy law, intellectual property law and IT law. Sinan advises his local and international clients with a multidisciplinary mindset, drawing from his experience in global law firms, where he assisted in providing the world's preeminent corporations and financial institutions with a full business law service.
He has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting complex commercial contracts, such as, inter alia, NDAs, sales contracts and PPAs, both in common law and civil law jurisdictions.
Sinan has also been involved in numerous large projects in the aviation and asset finance sectors, both locally and under the law of England and Wales. He has also worked on several electricity and oil sector transactions.
Alongside a busy transactional practice, he regularly contributes to the academic literature in the field of “Law of Obligations”, with a specific focus on sales contracts (including INCOTERMS, SGA 1979 and the CISG).
